Description

This building is a shop and house that also serves as a post office, located in Bridgend on Islay. It dates from the earlier 19th century and features a traditional design. The structure is a long row, consisting of one storey and a basement, built from rubble with a gabled slate roof and skews. At the western end, there is a barn, and a fore-stair leads to the entrance. The post office is situated in a Victorian wing, which is harled on the southern side.
