Description
Sornbank, located in Bridgend on the Isle of Islay, is a Georgian building dated 1838. It stands two storeys tall and features harled exterior walls and a slate roof. The chimneys have dressed caps, and the building includes gabled projecting bays that are inset with the date '1838'. A columned porch enhances the entrance.
There is a later 19th century addition to the southeast, which is now used as a garage. This single-storey structure has a loft, is constructed of rubble, and is lime-washed with a piended slate roof.
