Description

The pier at Tighnabruaich was rebuilt in 1885 and features a piled-timber construction with a broad head designed for steamer berths. It has three-rail timber railings. At the pier head, there is a combined waiting room, tearoom, and dwelling house, likely built around 1900. This structure is a 1-storey and attic building with a harled exterior and a slated mansard roof. There is also a flat-roofed extension on the seaward side, which is timber-railed to create a viewing platform.
