95 Clyde Street West, Helensburgh

95 Clyde Street West in Helensburgh is an earlier 19th-century symmetrical pair of semi-detached villas, each two stories high with an attic and three bays. The exterior is rendered with raised painted margins.

On the south elevation facing Clyde Street, each villa features a central two-leaf door; the door for number 95 has a fanlight, while number 96 has a corniced and pilastered design. There are windows on either side of the doors, and three windows are symmetrically arranged on the first floor.

The east elevation, which faces William Street, has a window to the right at ground level and two widely spaced windows on the first floor.

The north elevation at the rear is asymmetrical. Number 95 has a forestair leading to the first floor with an enclosed boarded porch, while number 96 features a curved turnpike stair tower.

The villas have a variety of windows, mostly four-pane sash and case. The roof is covered with grey slate and features two gabled dormers on the south side, two rooflights on the north elevation, and rendered coped stacks at the gables, along with an original stack at the center.
