Description
The tower in the Stonefield Castle Policies is of uncertain date and purpose, possibly designed by William Playfair. It may have been constructed around the same time as the main house to serve as a decorative feature in the grounds. The structure is made of rubble and is currently roofless, although it originally had a lean-to roof. It features a crenellated parapet and has a wide entrance with a smaller opening above it.
