Description
South Lodge at Stonefield Estate was designed by William Playfair in 1843 and showcases a Scottish architectural style. The building is a single storey with an attic, constructed from stugged ashlar stone. It features gabled slate roofs and has two pediments adorned with rose and thistle motifs at the apexes. The design includes crowstepped elements and an entrance wing at the front, which is highlighted by an advanced porch topped with a ball finial.
