Description
Tower View is a building that dates back to the early 18th century and is now part of a house. It is constructed from red Pennant rubble with limestone dressings, and the roof is not visible. The tower has a square, single-depth plan and stands two storeys high, featuring a one-window range. Notable architectural elements include a first-floor impost band, a moulded cornice, and a parapet. The entrance and windows have been replaced in the 20th century. The interior has also been largely remodelled in the 20th century. This tower may have originally served as a lookout for Lunsford House or Red Lodge, as it shares similar impost mouldings with those buildings.
