Description

Macquarie's Mausoleum in Gruline, Mull, was built in 1824 and features a Gothick style. It is a small, oblong structure made of ashlar stone with a gabled roof and saddle-back skews. The mausoleum has buttresses and marble insets with inscriptions at both ends. It is situated within a circular enclosure that is surrounded by a rubble wall topped with spear-head railings.
