Description

The mausoleum at Hopetoun House was built in 1831 and designed by William Burn in the Romanesque Revival style. It features polished ashlar stonework, saddle-back skews, and a stone-slabbed roof. The building includes gargoyles and round-headed window openings, with a porch located at the west end.
