Description

The Free Church School, located on Newton Row in Newtown, Inveraray, was built in 1848 and extended in 1880. This Victorian building is a single storey constructed from snecked rubble and features a piended slate roof. It has a gabled projection with a plaque that reads 'Free Church School 1848'. The school includes segmental-headed windows and doors. The extension, added in 1880, has a piended roof with a flat roof deck and also displays a plaque with the date '1880'.
