Description

The Old Rectory in Newton Row, Newtown, Inveraray, dates from around 1810 and is designed in the Georgian style. It stands three storeys tall with an attic, featuring an ashlar front and harled ends and rear. The building has piended dormers and a flat string-course. The classical doorway is adorned with Ionic pilasters, an entablature, and a pediment. Inside, there are notable features that contribute to its overall quality.
