Description
Newton House, located on Newton Row in Newtown, Inveraray, dates from around 1810 and is designed in the Georgian style. The building has two storeys and an attic, featuring three windows across its front. It is harled with a gabled slate roof. The classical doorway is adorned with pilasters and an entablature, and it includes a fanlight with astragals arranged in a looped pattern. The house has large windows and a round stair-tower at the rear, which is topped with a semi-conical roof.
