Description

St Oran's Church of Scotland in Connel was built in 1888 and is designed in the Gothic Revival style. The church has a cruciform shape and is constructed from rock-faced sneck rubble. It features a skew-gabled roof and is adorned with lancet windows and pointed traceried windows. There is a gabled porch and a central tower topped with a corbelled parapet. Inside, the church boasts a good interior with an open timbered ceiling.
