Description

Later 19th century. 2-storey and attic, double-fronted tenement with tympany gables. Sandstone ashlar, band course above ground floor to E. Chamfered margins.

W ELEVATION: stone forestair leading to tripartite entrances on 1st floor, 3 rectangular fanlights, modern doors, uniting cornice and crowstepped tympany gable above. Windows flanking with small additional window to left. 2 gabled dormers and additional flat-roofed dormer off-set to right.

E ELEVATION: bipartite entrance at ground, rectangular fanlights, modern doors, cornice. Blocked window centred above at 1st floor, crowstepped tympany gable above. Bays flanking; stone-mullioned bipartite at ground floor, 2 windows at 1st floor. Canted dormer to right, modern flat-roofed dormer to left.

N ELEVATION: gable end.

S ELEVATION: gable end.

4-pane timber sash and case windows at ground floor to E, plate glass or replacements elsewhere. Grey slate pitched roof, stone coped skews. Bracketed skewputts. Multi-chromatic brick gablehead and tympany stacks with full complement of polygonal cans.

BOUNDARY WALLS AND GATEPIERS: quared rubble boundary walls to E and W enclosing garden. Square section gate piers with pyramidal caps to Mount Street entrance. Square section gate piers to E.
