Description

Borrowfield House is a tall, three-storey L-plan house that originated in the 17th century and was remodelled in the 18th century. It features a corbelled projection on the south front, and the walls are intaken at the second floor on the south and east gables. The exterior is harled all over, likely around 1930. Inside, the house is unvaulted and contains two fine panelled rooms from the mid-18th century. There is a walled garden with gatepiers located to the south of the house.
