109-111 Murray Street, Montrose

109-111 Murray Street is a late 18th century, two-storey terraced house that features shops on the ground floor. The exterior is partly harled with plain margins.

The principal elevation has a panelled entrance door in the centre, topped by a boarded rectangular fanlight. There are shopfronts on either side of the entrance; the one on the right is modern with plate glass, while the one on the left is from the 19th century and includes one door and one window. Above the entrance door, there is a window on the first floor, with another window to the left and a blank space to the right. A small piended dormer interrupts the roof pitch on the left side.

The first-floor windows are timber sash and case with plate glass glazing. The roof is covered with grey slate, and there is a tall shouldered brick chimney stack that rises from the eaves, offset to the left.

The interior was not seen in 1997.
