Description
The water pump located on South Esk Road in Tannadice is a cast iron structure featuring a moulded base and a fluted column. It has a lionhead mask water spout positioned beneath a roll-moulded cornice, although the ribbed knob on the side is missing. The pump is topped with a fluted domed cap that has an acorn finial. Similar features are found on the pumps located on Manse Lane and Broomhill Road, which also have moulded bases, fluted columns, lionhead mask water spouts, and fluted domed caps with acorn finials, though the ribbed knobs on the latter two are also missing.
