Description

Balintore Castle Kennels, built around 1860, is a single-storey structure with a symmetrical design and a central south-facing gable. The building is constructed from random rubble, featuring red sandstone ashlar dressings.

On the southeast elevation, the openings have been altered, with some windows on the left side blocked. There are two doors and a window in the center at ground level, along with a loft opening above. To the right, there are two large vehicular openings with boarded doors. The roof is slate, platformed at the ridge and includes a continuous vent. At the east gable apex, there is a moulded ashlar block, although the stack appears to be lost.
