Description

Kirkriggs Primary School, built in 1853 by James Maclaren, features a Tudor style with an asymmetrical design. The building includes a single-storey schoolroom that has a porch and a bellcote, as well as a single-storey and attic L-plan schoolhouse with mullioned and transomed windows. There are later additions at the rear that are in a simplified neo-Tudor style.
