Description

The Threshing Mill at Newtonmill is a two-storey building with three windows, constructed from coarse rubble and designed in a very plain style. The exact date of the mill is uncertain. It has been re-roofed at a later time. The original gable wheel has been removed and replaced by an early type water turbine, which features a tall wooden cased surge chamber. Otherwise, the interior has been gutted.
