Description

This building, located at 16-17 High Street in Kirriemuir, is a former Commercial Hotel dating from the mid-19th century. It is constructed of coursed red rubble with a slate roof and features four storeys. The west elevation has one window, while the south elevation has two windows, and there is a one-window quadrant corner. The original ground floor includes shops. Additionally, there is a low two-storey wing at number 18. The building was re-categorised from grade B to grade C(S) in 2006, reflecting its group interest, which applies to both the interior and exterior as relevant to its building type.
