Description

36, 38, and 40 Bank Street in Kirriemuir is a building dating from around 1800. It is a low, two-storey structure made of red rubble with margins. The original ground floor features shops, and there are three windows on the first floor. At the back, there is an older parallel wing that has a stone slate roof. The building was re-categorised from grade B to grade C(S) in 2006, reflecting its group interest. The listing applies to both the interior and exterior of the building, as is appropriate for this type of structure.
