Description
The Elms is a two-storey mansion house built in the French Gothic style around 1869. It features a rubble and slate construction with ashlar dressings. The building has a steep-pitched roof, an arched porch, and a round corner tower. The architect responsible for its design was William Leiper from Glasgow.
