Description

The Game Larder, circa 1815-20, is a single-storey building constructed of squared granite. It has a crowstepped Y-plan design, featuring a two-storey central rotunda with battlements and a quadrant colonnade of Balty Langley pattern. The listing record indicates that the larder buildings are located at the rear of Castle Forbes.
