Description

This is a mid-19th century range of buildings, originally three cottages connected to number 1B. The structure is built of heavily pointed rubble with contrasting painted long and short dressings. The south-facing elevation is irregular, with four bays, and incorporates number 1D. The east-facing elevation, with three bays, forms the main front of number 1C. Three later 19th century canted dormers are present on the south front, with two more on the east front of number 1C. The building features coped end and ridge stacks and slate roofs.

Adjoining number 1C is a vertical, weatherboarded fish smoking kiln with a ridge louvre.
