Description
2 Rocksley Drive in Boddam is an earlier to mid 19th century end terraced house that has had 20th century extensions added to the rear. The building is single-storey with an attic and features a breaking wallhead. It has a rectangular plan and consists of three bays with a central door. There is a two-bay extension to the northeast, creating an L-plan on a prominent corner site. The original house is finished in modern cement harl with painted margins and a base course. It has polygonal piended dormers and later lean-to and flat roof extensions at the rear, along with a box dormer on the northern pitch.
The windows and entrance door have been replaced with uPVC frames. The pitched roof is covered in grey slates, with straight ashlar skews and ridge, and coped squared granite end stacks.
The interior, as seen in 2011, retains a largely intact original layout with two principal rooms flanking a central hall and a later room at the rear. It features painted panelled timber doors with moulded surrounds leading to the attic.
