Description
Ladysford is a long, two-storey house built around 1760 or 1770. It features three widely spaced windows and a simple architrave around the door, which is now enclosed in a conservatory. The building has skewputts and moulded chimney copes. There are single-storey advance wings with piend roofs and large central chimneys. The exterior is made of dressed granite, and all original openings are chamfered.
The joinery has largely been renewed, and the northwest wing has been remodelled internally. The windows were enlarged around 1948, and the east wing, which formerly contained a school, is now a garage. The property includes loupin-on-steps.
