Description

Crathes Castle is a modified L-plan tower house that features four storeys, along with a vaulted basement and a prominent angle stair. The castle is adorned with pinnacles and turrets. It has inset panels that are dated 1553 and 1596. Additionally, there is a three-storey east wing that was built in the early 18th century, along with further additions that were made in 1894.
