Description

5 King Street in Old Meldrum is an earlier 19th-century single-storey and attic cottage featuring five bays, although the two eastern bays are now roofless. The building is constructed from squared, pinned granite rubble. The western three bays include a central door flanked by windows, which have 12-pane sash designs. There are two later piended, canted dormers on the roof, along with end and ridge stacks. The cottage has a slate roof and a lean-to structure at the rear.
