Description

This building is an inn located on Urquhart Road in Old Meldrum, dated 1727, with later additions from the late 18th or early 19th century. The southern part of the building features an original gable made of old surface granite, while the ground floor shop has been refaced in quarried granite. The northern part is harled, but there is exposed granite at the northwest corner and in the stabling area. Some of the glazing is original, and there is a late addition of a bay window.
