The boundary walls and gate-piers at New Lodge, Ury House, were likely designed by John Baird of Glasgow in 1855. They feature coped ashlar dwarf quadrant walls, although the railings are missing. The gate-piers and terminal piers are polygonal in shape and made of ashlar, topped with faceted conical caps.
