Description

Kincardine House is a large Scots Baronial mansion house dating from 1897, designed by Niven and Wigglesworth of London. It is an asymmetrical building with a basement, two main floors, and an attic. The exterior is largely harled (roughcast) with rock-faced stone dressings and features bold castellated details and elements of the Early Renaissance style. Details of the building's design were published in Building News on 31st December 1897.
