Description
The Kincardine O’Neil Parish Church, located on the North Deeside Road, was built between 1860 and 1862 by James Matthews. It is an example of Early English style architecture, constructed with harled walls and granite dressings. The church is a rectangular building, six bays long and without aisles. The front facade features three shafted lancet windows and a bellcote. A bell from 1744, made by Mowat, is housed within the bellcote. Contracts for the construction were advertised in the Aberdeen Journal in June 1860.
