Description

This is a lodge, built in 1897 by Niven & Wigglesworth. It is a single-storey and attic structure with harled exterior walls and a crowstepped gabled roof. A distinctive circular corner section features a coned roof and a segmentally arched recess above the front door. The building incorporates harled walls and bullfaced stone dressings. The building’s listing reflects its group interest, and applies to both the interior and exterior. References can be found in Building News dated December 31st, 1897.
