Description
This is a mid-19th century steading, arranged around a symmetrical courtyard plan centered on a windmill and open to the south. The building is constructed of boulder rubble with granite dressings. The listing recognises the group value of the steading and applies to both its interior and exterior. The listing excludes later buildings within the courtyard.
