Description

Remains of early polygonal castle of enciente, considerable remains on west side with later additions; 17th century L-plan tower house in south angle incorporated into large 3-storey 7-window (centre 3 pedimented with linked margins and strings and later porch) mid Georgian house facing south-east, older third incorporating tower house now pulled down, remainder wrecked; earlier 19th century wing extending its frontage north-eastwards 2-storey 6-window plain ashlar, balustraded parapet with urns, still occupied.
