Description
27-31 Union Street in Aberdeen is a classical tenement building dating from before 1828. It stands four storeys tall with an attic and features seven bays. The building is located on a corner site and is constructed of grey granite ashlar. Notable architectural elements include a bowed corner with a blocking course and piended dormers with dentilled eaves.
The upper storeys predominantly have plate glass and four-pane timber sash and case windows, while the roof is covered with grey slates and has gable stacks.
The interior, which was partly seen in 2006, is believed to have been substantially altered.
