Description

56-58 Union Street in Aberdeen is a classical tenement building dating from before 1828. It is four storeys high with an attic and features five bays. The building is constructed from grey granite ashlar and has altered shops on the ground floor. There is an eaves band at numbers 56-58 and a shallow cornice at numbers 52 and 54. The roof includes piended dormers.

The upper storeys predominantly have 12-pane timber sash and case windows, while the shops have plate glass. The roof is covered with grey slates and has gable stacks.
