Elphinstone Road, 6 Thom's Place (Also Known As 10 Thom's Place)

This building, located at 6 Thom's Place (also known as 10 Thom's Place), dates from the late 18th century and features a 19th-century attic. Originally a pair of cottages, it has been remodeled in the late 20th century to form a single dwelling. It is part of a terraced row of traditional houses, with its gable end facing Elphinstone Road. The exterior is rendered, and the entrance is off-centre to the right of the south elevation (Thom's Place), flanked by windows, with an additional window further to the right. The gable has a window to the left and an end stack. There is a rubble wall with a rubble cope and a gate attached to the north elevation.

The building predominantly features multi-paned timber sash and case windows. The roof is pitched and covered with pantiles, including a slate easing course, and has catslide dormers with slate roofs and cheeks. The skews are shouldered.

The interior was remodeled into a single dwelling in the late 20th century, as observed in 2012.
