Description
158-162 Union Street in Aberdeen is a late 19th-century building featuring four storeys and an attic, designed with two asymmetrical bays and Tudor Gothic details. Constructed from granite, the ground floor has a modern shop front, while an arched entrance on the left leads to the upper floors. The narrow entrance bay includes a bowed and crenellated oriel window on the first floor, with a mullion and transom window above it and a boldly canted dormer. The wider west bay is three storeys high and features a five-light canted window with mullion and transom, topped with a crenellated parapet and a tripartite design in the gable head. A cusped frieze is present above the third floor.
