Dunnaman House, 30 Scrogg Road, Dunnaman, Kilkeel, Newry, Co Down, BT34 4EF

Dunnaman House was a two-storey, four-bay house built between 1800 and 1819. It was located at the end of a long lane on the west side of Scrogg Road in the townland of Dunnaman, near Kilkeel, Newry, Co Down. The house was shown on the 1834 Ordnance Survey six-inch map and belonged to Rev. Gustavus Warner, who had it valued at £10.13s.0d in the 1834 Valuation. Its stated dimensions were 49 feet by 20 feet by 16 feet, including two one-storey returns. It has since been demolished and replaced by a modern house. The original house had a pitched natural slate roof with four chimneys and smooth, lined render walls. It featured a modern, flat-roofed timber and glazed porch, a single window to the left of the front door, two to the right and four to the first floor. These windows were large, modern, two-pane transomed casements with painted granite cills. The gables were blank, and the rear elevation was unremarkable. While likely the same building as the one that formerly stood there, the Historic Monuments and Buildings Board survey card is undated and blank.
