Description
This is a derelict 17th century church located in Ballymoyer, near Whitecross, County Armagh. The church is constructed of random-coursed local stone and features a plinth and a double bellcote on the western gable, which also serves as the entrance. The interior includes a fireplace on the north wall. The east, north, and south elevations each contain two window openings with semi-circular heads. The building is in a derelict condition and has suffered significant loss of original fabric, including its windows, doors, interior features, and roof. The church and its surrounding graveyard are subject to a scheduled monument designation (ARM 021:030). This building was surveyed in the First Survey but not listed. A partial record only was taken during the Second Survey as the building is not worthy of a full survey.
