This is a house dating from approximately 1800 to 1819. The property is of some interest primarily due to its thatched roof, which is cut decoratively along the ridge in an English style. The house itself does not exhibit particularly vernacular architectural characteristics, having undergone extensions and the insertion of top-hung windows. A building is depicted at this location on an Ordnance Survey map from 1834.
