Description

The war memorial stands freely to the west of Chester Avenue, at the corner of Kings Road in Whitehead. It comprises a stepped concrete plinth topped by a squared-and-snecked concrete block rockfaced walling with granite insets. The memorial is not considered of sufficient merit to be included in a full survey.
