Description

Located off Old Hillsborough Road, 2-4 The Close is a block of two semi-detached, single-storey houses built of rubble stone. The houses date from the first part of the nineteenth century. They have been altered and refurbished in recent years. The building was surveyed initially but not listed, and a partial survey taken subsequently, concluding that it does not possess sufficient architectural or historical significance to warrant a full listing. It was previously used as a terrace of houses, and currently remains in that use.
