Description

The building at 39-41 Lisburn Street, Hillsborough, comprises two mid-terrace houses dating to the early 19th century. They are constructed of rubble stone with red-brick dressings, and are situated on the east side of Lisburn Street within Hillsborough town centre. The houses were surveyed as part of the First Survey but were not listed. A partial survey was undertaken during the Second Survey, but a full survey was deemed unnecessary due to the buildings' limited interest. Various refurbishments and alterations over time have diminished the original character of the properties.
