Description

The building is an Orange Hall located in Purdysburn Village, Ballycowan, Belfast. Originally recorded as number 12 Purdysburn Village during the First Survey, the hall was not initially listed. A partial record was taken during the Second Survey, as it was deemed not of sufficient interest to warrant a full survey. The original single-storey building has been demolished and replaced with a single-storey, L-shaped hall. The exterior is rendered and the roof is covered in fibre cement slates. The building currently functions as a hall and was formerly used as a hall. It is not listed and possesses neither architectural nor historical interest.
