Description
This was a two-storey house dating from the mid-19th century. It stood on Banbridge Road, Croob, and has since been demolished and replaced by a modern bungalow. The original house had rendered walls with raised quoins, a slated roof, and paired double-hung windows with hood moulds above. A recessed entrance was set within a square-headed opening, also with a dripstone. A single window was centrally placed on the first floor, and the ground-floor windows were enclosed in moulded architraves. It was likely re-faced at some point. The house first appeared on the Ordnance Survey map of 1859 and had a frontage of approximately 40 feet. A survey was conducted on 24th October 1969. The building is not listed for its architectural or historical interest, and only a partial survey was recorded.
