Presbyterian Church, Drumquin, Omagh, Co Tyrone

The Presbyterian Church on Castlederg Road in Drumquin is a simple gabled church built in 1860, as inscribed on the building itself. The church’s walls are of rubble construction, rendered, lined, and painted. It has five windows set into the sides, each with a Gothic arch head and a bevelled stone surround, featuring diamond panes. The front gable includes a stone bellcote supported by two plaster corbels, though no bell is present. Below the bellcote is a quatrefoil stone panel. The gable also contains two upper and two lower windows, matching those on the flanks, and a central doorway with a Gothic arch head and a double bevelled stone surround, leading to a sheeted door and overdoor. Stone pilaster quoins and a bevelled base add to the facade. The condition of the church is fair. A graveyard lies adjacent to the northeast. It is noted that the church does not meet the criteria to merit a full survey and is not listed for its architectural or historical interest.
