Description
A sandstone road bridge, likely constructed between 1860 and 1879, spans the Clogherna burn on the Glenedra Road near Feeny, County Londonderry. The bridge replaces an earlier structure and is built of sandstone in random rubble stonework. It features a single arch and a good parapet wall with piers at each end, finished with sandstone coping. The bridge is sturdily built and adds visual interest to the Glenedra Road. Upstream and downstream vegetation obscures detailed inspection. It holds industrial archaeological interest. Ordnance Survey maps from 1830 (revised in 1905) depict the area.
